San Francisco Carnival is organized every year in the month of May. This is two days event including various performances, food stalls, a grand parade, King & Queen competition. In this carnival parade various cultural groups participate Latino, Philippine, Chinese etc. Check out here for more information. Check out my flickr for colorful images of this grand parade.
